Disco Blazin
The purpose behind this mixtape was to show the general public the diversity that moombahton has acquired, it doesn't necessarily have a lot of subgenres but it can be influenced in so many ways depending on the feel of the producer...w/this mix for example you have a bit of a reggae, deep soul, funky, disco tropical moombahton vibe.... its tough to describe just, chk it out.

YMID is the forthcoming album from Milli Mars of the whizKIDZ.
The whizKIDZ is a young group of forward thinkers including rappers, producers, musicians, photographers and DJ's who want to be completely against the the norm of whatever is cliche in certain artforms. their most displayed action towards any form of this mediocrity is simple; rebellion.

Escape.
Dont you just wish you could go back in time. sometimes.
Make things the way they used to be, even though you really know your better off where you are now and you learned whatever lesson there was to learn... u still wish sometimes things could be the way they used to be....
but they never are...
& nor will they ever be. the end.
haha jk.
I think we long a sense of escape. When we finally get time away from everyone and have time focus on ourselves we begin to analyze every detail in our life. Past, Present, & Future. Sometimes we are content, sometimes we are eager, but sometimes we often wonder what could have been of our lives based on decisions or which direction we decided to focus our energy on.
Today I had one of those days where I honestly sorta wish I could be back there.... but I realize its not that I want my old lifestyle back...I just want that feeling of stability back....I want more organization in my life. I want to travel.
I want to escape...be away for a while....spend time alone.
I know what I want, I know what I lack, I dont know what to expect.
Its promising, but I know Ill have to face obstacles I have to mentally ready for.
Its time to make moves baby.
Its time to take risks sweethearts. Love, Viv

I wanted to take time to blog about The Dub Academy located in Austin, Texas.
I am fortunate enough to know one of the individuals who takes part in running the Dub Academy. He's not only the director of operations at Dub Academy but one of the most talented scratch DJs with the most experience you'll come across in Austin. I didn't realize it at the time when we first met but he became a major source of inspiration for me when I decided to take a chance on the decks and he helped implant a seed which has flourished into a major source of determination to succeed. Lorenzo has always been one of those genius individuals who sits back in the shadows and observes EVERYTHING, breaks it down, then patiently waits to act out his visions accordingly. He has always aspired to educate people. You see there is way more than meets the eye when it comes to DJing and music production. For those who want to take this serious hobby & turn it into a career path, its really important to understand the whole spectrum of it. There's a ton of politics involved and if you do not have respect or develop a true understanding of everything & everyone involved, the odds of you making it are slim. Lorenzo taught me that if you come to appreciate and value the early years of DJing and music production rather than viewing them as insignificant, regardless of which direction or software/equipment you decide to use, you will be much more respected. So I want to give back to him by encouraging you to go to the Dub Academy if your looking to take some classes and learn to DJ/Ableton/Serato. Seriously, consider coming here... there are a ton of dedicated & passionate people working here eager to educate you properly. Many who are actually active DJs in Austin at the moment so they can give you the ins and outs and be able to answer any questions you may have.
